Book Update: Project Song

Project Song is a romance novel about family, music, and witches.

Summer Bails comes from a long line of powerful witches. Her father expects Summer to uphold their legacy and marry a warlock of similar status. Doing so won’t be easy for Summer because she’s a witch with little magical ability and every date she goes on ends in failure. Also, she must worry about her father’s declining health.

Then she meets Lionel Lewis, a 28-year-old singer, who sends Summer’s heart into overdrive. When Lionel asks Summer to be his songwriter, Summer learns what it means to love yourself first before anyone else and how to follow your heart.

What is Project Song?

Project Song is not the official title of my next novel. It’s a placeholder. Titles are an important piece of any work of art and occasionally the right one falls in my lap. Sometimes I don't have a clue until the end. In my current writing journey, I emphasize nothing has to be perfect the first time. When you’re stuck, don’t power through it. Jump around and leave harder tasks for later. I can slow down, but stopping is not allowed. Despite not knowing what to call this book, I still want to share my ideas and progress with you. So for now we will refer to this project as Project Song.
